No. 125 Helicopter Squadron of the Indian Air Force was raised in November 1983 at Pathankot. The unit was initially equipped with Mi-25 attack helicopters, later operated Mi-35 helicopters and inducted the AH-64E Apache attack helicopter in 2019.
