For anyone fascinated by military aviation, the Hawk represents an important stage in developing the flying skills, discipline and confidence required for demanding operational aircraft.

The Story Behind the Hawk Mk 132

The BAE Systems Hawk is a family of jet training aircraft developed to prepare pilots for high-performance military aviation. The Hawk Mk 132 is an advanced jet trainer variant operated by the Indian Air Force.

Advanced jet trainers play an important role in helping military pilots transition from earlier flying instruction to more demanding aircraft and operational flying environments.

The Hawk Mk 132 is associated with advanced flying instruction, aircraft handling, formation flying and the development of skills relevant to future fighter aviation.

Its compact airframe, tandem-seat cockpit, swept wings and single-engine configuration make it a distinctive aircraft among modern military trainers.
